World champion and former Paralympic gold medallist Dan Greaves exceeded his own F44 discus world record with a best distance of 59.85m for victory ahead of American Jeremy Campbell at the US Paralympic National Track and Field Championships this weekend.

Having only set a new World Record last month at the Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, the new distance saw Dan once again edge ever-closer to the 60 metre mark.

“It’s outrageous, it’s so  close it’s unbelievable,” said Dan, whose winning distance saw him add a massive 58cm to his own World Record.
