Olympic Test Event Gold for Louis0

Louis produced an impressive routive to claim individual gold on the pommel horse at the Olympic test event in London, his individaul success came just days after he helped the British Men qualify a full team for London 2012 on Tuesday.

“It probably was one of my cleanest routines,” said Louis who won Britain’s first Olympic medal in 100 years four years ago at the Beijing Games.

“I don’t know how I did it with the preparation which was a bit stop and start.”

“I think I’ve gained a lot of experience in the past couple of years and I think it showed there.”

“I really had to concentrate tonight with the added pressure of home advantage but it went really well. I’m pleased.”
