Andy Turner

Andy competed in Beijing having previously won bronze at both the Commonwealth Games and European Championships. The 5 time British Champion had his funding cut in 2008 but fought back and proved his worth to the governing body with historic gold medals at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona and Commonwealth Games in Delhi, followed by his third consecutive major championship medal at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu.
