Claire Cashmore
Claire competed in four events at the Beijing Paralympics, winning a bronze medal in the 100m SB8 Breaststroke. She also reached finals in 100m S9 Backstroke, 100m S9 Butterfly and 200m SM9 Individual Medley. She also competed at the 2004 Athens Paralympics aged just 16, winning bronze in the S9 100m backstroke and the 200m individual medley. More recently, an historic hat-trick of silver medals at the World Championships in 2012 followed by a 5 medal haul at the 2011 European Championships cement Claire’s position as one of Team GB’s leading medal hopes for the 2012 Paralympics.
