Joey Duck

Joey has been running 100m, 200m and 400m since the age of 11 for her local athletics club. At the age of just 14 she proved her talent by recording the 2nd fastest time to ever be run by a girl in the 100m event for her age group in the UK, breaking a record which had stood for over 30 years. More recently at the U23 European Championships Joey was involved in the 4x100m relay team which won gold, furthering her successes and making a landmark achievement. With an important season on the track upon her and a positive transition to the senior stage in her pocket she is sure to upset some of her competitors on her journey to London 2012.
